Several Announcements!

Hello everyone!

A few items of business to attend to, so don't mind the rambles. As I hope you've all seen by now, our Chief Operations Officer turned Acting Executive Officer has official, in the story-line, been given the job and promoted in character to the grade and rank indicated, Lieutenant Commander! Congrats to JP for stepping up in the wake of things that have happened recently.

Secondly, we have some manifest changes to discuss. First off, although JP's character is acting in the duel capacity of XO and COO, the slot of Chief Operations Officer is now vacant. If there are any members of the crew that wish to apply for this position, I need to know by the end of this week via an email. If no one wants to take this role, I will open it to the public.

Next, Lieutenant Rixx has decided to step down from the Chief Engineer's slot. He will be removing Stretch from the ship in posts later, but for now his character will be assumed MIA for plot purposes. This means that our little drone, Three of Seven, is now the Acting Chief Engineer! Once the mission is ended, he will be elevated to this role permanently. The slot he vacates is also up for grabs, the same application process applies.

Last but not least, myself and Major DeVries are, starting the 22nd and lasting until the 25th of April, going to be on a Leave of Absence! We are going on our first family vacation since we got married and I don't think I'll be bringing the laptop. I will have my phone with me and will reply to important matters and the occasional JP, but otherwise I will be out of pocket. Until I get back, JP will be in charge. If we do not move the mission forward before then, it will be assumed that we are still in repair mode pending our ability to return to combat status. We will sort all this out in character as it happens.
