Run In With A 'Spy'

Posted on Thu Mar 24th, 2011 @ 9:05pm by Lieutenant Antoine Théroit & Lieutenant Xylia Lischka

Mission: Renegades
Location: USS Arizona
Timeline: Before Senior Staff Meeting

Lieutenant JG Xylia Lischka left her quarters after a lot of unpacking and getting settled back in. When she left the ship for shore leave, she left with minimal luggage, but came back with more than she ever thought possible. Even for her and her shopping addiction. But now.. now she was back in the required uniform worn by members of Starfleet and on her way to the security offices. Rumor had it there were new people on board the ship, and at some point, it would do to acquaint herself with them. Hell, she'd been on board for a while now, and there were still people she hadn't met. Perhaps it was time to rectify that situation.

Turning down another hall and lost in her own thoughts, Xylia walked into what she thought was a wall and stumbled backward, hitting the floor with an oomph. She looked up to see what it was she just hit and blinked, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "You... You really are some sort of spy, aren't you? Are you here to spy on me?"

Amelie charged off and bulldozed into Xylia. She huffed and a puffed and barked ecstatically at her "long lost" human companion as she craved for her attention. "Of course. What was I suppose to do when you decided to bail on me?" He stuck his tongue out at her playfully of course. He wore his uniform with the crimson red shoulders.

Xylia gave Amelie a good rub and got back to her feet, dusting invisible particles off of herself. "Well, I didn't mean to bail on you, and I'm sorry. A lot happened in a short span of time. Pranks, pissed off people, boxing... the usual."

"You box? I would have paid to see that." Antoine laughed.

"Among other things. I'm big in to sports when I have the time to be. At any rate, my opponent was the Captain. Don't ever take that man for granted. He can beat the hell out of anyone."

"And your not in the brig?" Antoine raised an eyebrow.

"No. Why would I be? It was a matter of honor at the moment, and there weren't any ranks involved." Xylia stated.

"I was only kidding," Antoine tried to assure her.

Xylia smoothed a hand over her uniform and nodded. She was going to have a hard time getting back into the swing of things. "That's a good thing. Since you're a spy, I wasn't sure if you were going to throw me in there yourself."

"Of course not. I will just closely watch your every move," he winked while he noticed she was sorting out her uniform, "Lunch after the senior staff meeting?"

"Sounds good. I've got a department meeting I have to get to shortly. How about we meet up after that?"

"Sounds good. Have a good one."

Xylia smiled. "You, too." She gave his arm a pat and slipped past him to continue on her way to the security offices. When the Major called, you didn't normally leave her waiting.

He watched Xylia walk off before putting Amelie back on her leash. He wanted to take her for another lap around the deck before going to the meeting.
