Mission: Shore Leave 1: Pacifica
Location: Pacifica
Timeline: Current

Susan was glad to hear the Captain's announcement about shore-leave on Pacifica. She had never been to the planet, but was glad for a chance to go ashore. Having grown up primarily on planets, Susan was starting to feel slightly claustrophobic aboard DS14 and the Arizona. She was glad for a chance to step foot on a real planet and not worry about anyone trying to kill her or her crewmates.

Looking out the window of her quarters, Susan could see the planet below. About that time the crew was informed of the official start of their shorleave. As apparently bikini's were on the dress code, and since she wasn't entirely sure if the Captain was joking or not, Susan donned one and slipped a sundress on over top.

Beaming down with several other crew-members near the resort, the young scientist saw several people already enjoying themselves. Some had already started a game of volley ball, others were simply soaking up the sun, and it looked like a BBQ was already started.

What caught her attention more were several boats anchored nearby. After some inquiries, she found a boat driver willing to take her out on the water. Taking off her dress, Susan pulled on a pair of board shorts and donned a ski vest before climbing into the boat.

Once out far enough, Susan strapped herself into the wakeboard and gave the boat drive a thumbs up. She was a little rusty but it didn't take long for her to remember the skills she had honed as a child on Delos IV & Majaro IV, as well as some of her free time at the Academy.
