Mission: Shore Leave 1: Pacifica
Location: Lieutenant Roberts' Quarters
Timeline: Following 'Divine Retribution; Part 2'

Xylia walked through the hallway after her impromptu boxing match with the Captain. The fact that the fight was a draw didn't really surprise her, though. Holding on to her ribs on her left side, she turned down another hall. Why she was going this way, she wasn't really sure. What she really needed to do was head to sickbay and have them look her over to make sure nothing was broken. Of course, nothing felt broken, but one never knew when things were internal.

Stopping outside the door she took a deep breath and winced, then reached out to alert the person on the other side of her presence. She wasn't going to complain about the many bruises, cuts and various injuries she received during the fight. It was her idea, and though the outcome wasn't exactly what she picture in her mind, it definitely was better than losing.

Aiden stumbled to the door, still shaking off his most recent hangover. He jumped as he stubbed his toe on one of the few bars of gold pressed latinum scattered across of the floor of his quarters. Pacifian casinos had been good to him, to say the least. But now he was paying for it, having spent the majority of the day in bed or on the couch.

"I'm coming, I'm coming..." He muttered. The sound of someone at the door was just so loud he prayed to whatever higher beings he believed in that whomever it was didn't press the button again. Luckily he reached the door beforehand, and laid eyes on the sight before him.

"What the hell happened to you? Was there a tiger in your bathroom too?" He said, remembering again why he decided to seek lodging onboard as opposed to on the planet. Tourists brought the weirdest things with them, and an Earth jungle cat was certainly one of them. Or did he bring that? He couldn't remember.

Xylia blinked when he opened the door. She was sure she looked bad until she saw him. "Er... no, not a tiger. Shit and a very pissed off Captain. What happened to you?" Looking past him and into his quarters, she was sure she would see something there she didn't want to.

"Dabo...." Was the only word that came to mind. The bright lights and the array of sounds from beeps and buzzes to cheers and groans all passed through his mind again as he recalled his winning day. Aiden caught her glances past him, after he stopped daydreaming. "Wanna come in...?"

"Sure... I was expecting to see a hoard of naked women running around in there or something. Though, you look like you had a pretty good night last night." She waited until he stepped aside before walking inside, then noticed all of the latinum lying around. "Do you want to be my sugar daddy? I'd gladly let you have the role."

Aiden paused for a moment as he looked for his medical kit, not sure as how to take that. "Sure .... So what brings you by..." He said awkwardly, as he popped out the medical tricorder. He took the probe up and down her body, scanning for any serious injuries.

"Don't get weird on me. I'm sure I can find someone on the surface who would take me up on the offer." Xylia said, letting him scan her. Thankfully, she didn't have any serious injuries that wouldn't heal up on their own in time, but she still planned to pay a visit to sickbay and have them taken care of at some point. "I figured you were still on the ship, so I thought I'd drop in, see how you were. Try to convince you to head down with me."

"You're fine... nothing broken.." He said as he set the tricorder aside. "And why would I want to do that.. especially after you told me that I would have competition..." Aiden sat down on the couch, mildly surprised that she had just called him out on his shit. He was hungover, and that meant he wasn't exactly bringing his A game.

"Besides the hoard just left, but my bed is always your bed.." He said slyly.

Xylia grinned. "Lucky for me, then. Besides, if you went down to the surface with me, there wouldn't be any competition. And, there's a nice big bed down there that could be broken in. I promise I won't steal the covers this time."

Aiden stood suddenly and walked towards the bedroom, pausing before the doorway. "Why waste all the time with the back and forth when we have a perfectly good bed...right here...." He said before disappearing through the doorway, hoping he wouldn't be alone for long.

Xylia got to her feet and followed behind him. "Who can argue with logic like that?" She moved past him and into the room, turning with a grin. She may be in pain, but he was certainly about to make her feel so much better.
